  1. Should these tapes be shown I believe yes, we have all manner of disclosures these days,

Penny Junor disclosing about Charles and then Camilla. In years gone-by the Royal family did not court publicity as they appear to do today, the public contribute, massively, to their lifestyle so we should be kept in the picture.

We do, especially in Britain, have some very differing views of what is private and what is not. We see the lives of celebrities when they wish us to, so they can enhance their image, but then they object when disclosures are available which counter the image which they wish to portray.

After a persons demise, all manner of disclosures are made, especially those who have courted the limelight, either intentionally or not, we see love letters, their diaries, TV programmes, films, documentaries, etc are made. We also say death should be respected, what about archaeology, do we not raid tombs for many reasons, fame, increasing educational knowledge and just being nosy.

There is so much hiposcracy about what should be private and what should not be, as at times it is down to who is disclosing, disclosing to who, for what purpose and for what reward.
