  1. ‘Deborah, who says she hasn’t received any other benefits since the cancer diagnosis, was also made to travel nine miles to attend a Jobcentre interview with a work coach.’ This shows that the powers that be either have no unstanding of health conditions or simply do not care, for, to force someone recovering from Cancer and on Chemotherapy to travel any distance, let alone 9 miles is beyond comprehension and a complete lack of reality, the DWP and this Government should be ashamed of putting claimants through all this, as well and the anguish of not knowing if there life blood benefit income will be there at the end of the process.

Do they really wish people to die, for that is one sure way of reducing the benefits Bill forever.

Also, “We want our next government to start working towards a future where no one needs a food bank by ending the five week wait for Universal Credit; ensuring benefit payments cover the cost of living; and investing in local emergency support for people in crisis., for how is it in this age of technology can not the benefit system be made to use the benefits of current technology.

Somely with the reliance on computer systems is it not possible to stop payments from one (old) benefit systems and in the next second commence payments from the new benefit system, a then, seamless transition.

Just a little forethought, that is, if the authorities , the Government’ really cares. and not just some ogres.
