Civil Servants have ruled the roost for far to long and the long past comedy programmes ‘Yes Minister’ and ‘Yes Prime Minister’ were not far from the truth.
They like weak Ministers who they can mould and detest strong Ministers who can stand up to them.
No matter what colour party is in power the real power comes from the Civil Service.
Patel’s language may not be ideal, but her aggression is.
Who will win, who knows and will a win be better or worse for the country.
Respect and Dignity is ‘Two Ways’ and in many instances needs to be earned.
