This is disgraceful, for these heaters are deemed not good enough for general sales and because of their pollutant properties they are not saleable, but the EPA say it OK to give to the tribes and Appalachian communities. This is, as though they are second class citizens of America.
Just like in the Colonial days when the major Western counties, in the name of exploring, gave trinkets to the tribes of Africa and even worse killed the tribes of South America and the West Indies just because they would not surrender their lands to these Western invaders. Not only that but they also brought disease in the form of non-lethal conditions in the West, but lethal to these populations as they did not have the immunity to these conditions.
Now they are doing something similar to the tribes and Appalachian communities in American, this is a form of racism and should not be occurring.
These communities deserve better.
