Russian president Vladimir Putin has claimed his daughter has been inoculated against COVID-19 after the country became the first in the world to register a vaccine for the disease.

  1. My concern here is that Putin is putting the first to register a COVID-19 vaccine as the main priority, rather than the interests of patients.

    As the testing of the vaccine is nowhere near complete, this could prove to be a health disaster and if testing eventually proves there are problems, then this will be ammunition to anti-vaxxers. and will put back the use of vaccines considerably.
