In Britain we’re used to getting what we want, when we want – but the supply issues that have emptied shelves are here to stay, says Guardian columnist Gaby Hinsliff

Scarcities occur for many reason some outside our control and some not.

Panic buying can cause some scarcities but not all, Yes, Brexit has caused some and also climate change plus others.

It appears the World is not willing to do all it can to combat climate change and it may be becoming too late, if it is not already.
