Why Does Social Media Deem It Acceptable to Allow Racial Abuse to Black Footballers? | Community | News

No form of abuse is acceptable no matter what circumstances are involved.

With Social Media they do have the resources to eliminate the abuse though their platforms, but they appear unwilling to do so.

The legislation promised in the Queen’s Speech could well alleviate that to some or all extent.  However, these platforms are owned my multi-billionaires and so their resources to fight or reduce the effects of any such legislation are enormous, but that should not stop the legislation coming into force and if it needs to be amended to make it more enforceable then so be it.

Black footballers could come off Social Media but why should they, why is it the innocent who have to act, rather than the perpetrators being punished, it is because it is easier for this to occur, but it is a major limitation of freedoms. Just because something is difficult should not be an excuse to not proceed, as by not proceeding this is as bad as the initial racial abuse and is in effect condoning but inaction or insufficient action. If the was put into every legislation, that inaction or insufficient action was illegal then more would be done by all concerned.

Palace under pressure to respond to Harry and Meghan racism claims | Monarchy | The Guardian

This was a very explosive interview, but one that had to take place for it showed, yet again, how ‘The UK Monarchy’ is out of place in the 21st century for it really needs to escape its assumed safety of the 19th century. For other European Monarchies have changed and survived and the ball is now and has been for sometime in the Court of The Monarchy.

Will The Monarchy survive, well I do hope so and it is still not too late for them to fully embrace Harry and Meghan.

Unfortunately, Harry and Meghan will be viewed badly by many in the UK, as many UK racists will feel their views are being supported, especially if they are Monarchists as well. Then the UK Monarchists will be against them.

But they will be supported by anti-monarchists and also many ‘people of Colour’.

This is a great opportunity for racism to be tackled by the establishment in the UK and show racists that they will not be tolerated.

I wish Harry and Meghan well and their starting family.

Racists murder in the USA

This is the US today under Trump, where racists feel they hold the upper hand.

A president should be there for all the people not just his own supporters, but then that is Trump.

Rasmus Paludan: Meet the far-right leader who wants to deport all Muslims from Denmark | Euronews

Convicted of racism, accused of Nazi ties, known for burnings of the Quran… and about to become a Danish MP?

Danish lawyer Rasmus Paludan was little known a few months ago but his far-right party has gained traction ahead of a general election on June 5.

His political movement — Stram Kurs (Hard Line) — calls itself the party for “ethnic Danes”, wants to ban Islam and deport all Muslims from Denmark.

His party is forecast to win 2.3%, according to a recent poll published by Voxmeter, which would be enough to enter parliament.

Hard Line’s rise comes as support for the country’s biggest nationalist movement, Danish People’s Party, has fallen.

“Hard Line’s only agenda is to be extremely tough on refugees, immigrants and Muslims in particular, and that attracts a small group of voters who think anti-immigration policies can always get harder and more radical,” said elections specialist and professor of political science at Copenhagen University, Kasper Møller Hansen.

Since founding his party in July 2017, Paludan has earned a following on YouTube and Snapchat but in recent months he emerged from virtual stardom among teenagers to securing election candidacy by gathering the required 20,000 digital signatures of endorsement from voters.

In April, a Danish court found Paludan guilty of racism after he argued that people from Africa are less intelligent.

Paludan said in a December 2018 video: “The enemy is Islam and Muslims. The best thing would be if there were not a single Muslim left on this earth. Then we would have reached our final goal.”

The foundation of Hard Line is “ethnonationalism” and Paludan says you need at least two grandparents of Danish origins to prove you are Danish.

Martin Krasnik, editor-in-chief of the Danish newspaper “Weekendavisen”, called Paludan a Nazi in a recent editorial. He said that Paludan is “clearly familiar with the Nuremberg laws” from Nazi-era Germany.

Paludan denies having any associations with Nazism.

BRITAIN: There is a saying teach our children well ‘ This should begin with parents ‘ be carried on by Teachers and End with believing everyone is equal Black and White or even Multicoloured instead people like sheeple follow those with their own grudges or political agendas and causing Racial Abuse to rise starting with our primary school children – @AceNewsServices

While schools are regarded as the main educators of children, they are not the only educators. For before children go to school they are usually at home and are being educated by their parents, whether this is intentional or not, as children observe what is around them and what is occurring.

So all parents have a duty to their children in the way they conduct themselves when in front of their children, for what children hear and see they will copy. However, there may be other factors, for they may go to a nursery and pre-school and also the community environment in which they live.

All of these are factors in how children behave, however, in many instances their behaviour could be tempered by how they are disciplined by family members.

So all in all, while teachers have their part to play, so do parents and all factors need to be taken into consideration.

On Donald Trump & Women

A great post, but unfortunately this will not convince his core supporters to desert Trump, but could persuade those that are undecided not to vote for him and may be vote for Hillary Clinton.

Fish Of Gold

Other than a swipe here and there, I’ve largely stayed silent on this American presidential election cycle, because for any thinking person, it’s entirely clear who the next President should not be.

Donald Trump supporters seem divorced from any sense of reality, particularity if those supporters are women. I don’t see how it’s possible to be an informed voter and be a Trump supporter. You have to choose one or the other; either bury your head in the sand or learn the facts. Once you have even some of the facts, it’s impossible to support him.

This is the American presidential election, not a reality show, but you’d never know it to look at the news. On Friday, another embarrassing Trump video was released. To me, the most cringe-inducing part of the video is not the “locker room” talk he and Billy Bush thought they were having in private, but…
