Novak Djokovic visa: Australian minister Alex Hawke says risk of ‘civil unrest’ behind cancellation | Novak Djokovic | The Guardian

Hawke says Djokovic ‘perceived by some as a talisman of a community of anti-vaccine sentiment’

==========================================

Well, Novak is now on his way back to Serbia . He was just trying his luck in trying to gain entry to Australia, but his luck ran out, as he was not adhering to Australia’s COVID requirements.

He knew exactly what they were, but thought his arrogance and his assumed importance would get him threw, it worked the first time, but not the second.

If he had abided by the restrictions, he would, more than likely, have been allowed back next year, but not now as he is not allowed for 3 years.

Tennis Australia also needs to be investigated as they also tried to circumvent the restrictions.

Novak Djokovic admits attending children’s tennis event while infected with Covid | Daily Mail Online

Novak Djokovic has admitted attending an event with children while he was Covid positive – but says he didn’t know he was infected until shortly after the event.

============================================

Well Boris Djokovic, sorry Novak Djokovic, so confused between Novak Djokovic and Boris Jognson as both appear guilty of lying re events during COVID and both deserve all of what should be coming to them.

With Boris he should now resign and Novak should, at least, be deported immediately as not only did he mislead on his Visa application to be allow entry to Australia, but also lied in Court proceedings.

Both need to go so that we can all see that being untruthful has consequences. So resign Boris and Australia needs to deport Novak without any more delay.

Both are disgraceful and disgusting persons who care more for themselves than others and need to be made an example of.

Sport loves athletes with mental health issues – if they just shut up and play | Marina Hyde | The Guardian

The grand slams say Naomi Osaka’s decisions about press are ‘injurious’ to tennis. Perhaps they should look closer to home, says Guardian columnist Marina Hyde

=============================================

This all shows that the powers that be in sport, especially in Tennis do not care about people in sport, but are only there for their own interests and those of the media.

If these persons in power do not change then there could well be no participants in sport for tournaments to take place and they will only have themselves to blame.

Money and power are the root of all evil and will spoil the enjoyment of all concerned, the sport participants and the spectators of sports.

This will be the next area of abuse to be inspected, for we have already seen how participants have been treated by some trainers and managers in gymnastics

Money has taken over most sports and lead to great abuses of power or assumed power, the proposed Super league of top football clubs in Europe is another prime example
