Trump Brings Armageddon Closer by Moving American Embassy to Jerusalem

There are a few forces in the World today who appear to wish to bring on World War 3, Kim Jong-un, Trump, Israel and the Fundamental Right and all should be countered for WW3 will, if it comes, will be apocalyptic for the majority of the Worlds population and to what end.

The World, today, may not be good place, but it is all our lives at stake and none should be lost due to the actions of the Warmongers, never today, tomorrow or anytime within the future.

Beastrabban\'s Weblog

And this is exactly what Christian Zionist millennialists like Tim Lahaie want.

Yesterday, Trump announced that he was going to move the American embassy from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem. This is what the Israelis have been demanding for years, but previous administrations have not given into them, because they were very much aware that this would set off a powder keg of rage and hostility across the Middle East. Jerusalem was taken from the Palestinians, and still contains a sizable Arab population. The Israeli nationalist right would love it to be the capital of their nation, but it is also claimed by the Palestinians.

There have been mass protests and riots against Trump’s decision all over the Middle East. RT yesterday put up this footage of Israeli squaddies or the police trying to put down protesters or rioters in Bethlehem yesterday.

And politicians from across the political spectrum have condemned…

Betsy DeVos Removes Guidance Documents for Disabled Students

A very sad state of affairs and yes, it could and possibly will be imported from the US to the Uk, as many undesirable actions are.

Beastrabban\'s Weblog

More from a growing pile of already abundant evidence that Betsy DeVos should not be in charge of education in America. Actually, I wouldn’t trust her to run a pre-school or kindergarten. In this piece from The Young Turks, Jeff Waldorf reports and comments on the move by DeVos to rescind the 72 official documents, which explain to students and their parents, what the rights of disabled people are when they go to Uni. American universities are granted money by the federal government to support the needs of disabled students. DeVos hasn’t revoked these. She’s just making sure that disabled students, their carers and relatives, don’t know what they are.

One of these documents translates the official jargon of the legislation into ordinary plain English, so that regular peeps don’t need a lawyer to interpret it for them. Now it’s gone, things are going to be made difficult so that…

American Psychiatrists Fear Trump Mentally Ill, Unsuited for Presidency

They could be right for does any sane person conduct themselves as Trump does. If they do not act soon it may be too late.

Beastrabban\'s Weblog

They aren’t the only one, and this is serious.

In this video from The Young Turks, The Ring of Fire’s Farron Cousins reports that three professors of psychiatry, one from Harvard, the other two from the University of California San Francisco, have written a letter to Barack Obama requesting that he step in and force Trump to take a psychiatric examination. They are concerned that he suffers from psychological defects that render him not just unsuitable, but actually too dangerous to be given the job of president. They believe that Trump’s grandiosity, his impetuousness, the way he takes offence and responds aggressive at even the mildest criticism point to mental illness. He may just suffer from Narcissistic Personality Disorder, perhaps something rather more serious than that, or perhaps even be a full-blown sociopath. Cousins states that it could just be affluenza. Trump comes from an extremely wealthy background, and has…

Young Turks’ Suggestion for Defeating Trump’s Muslim Registry

This is one step from internment camps and then what. Are there any similarities with Hitler and if there is the camps were not only for Jews, but for anyother race and individuals whom Hitler and his supporters deamed to be not one of them.

So anyone in the US should think very closely about what may be to occur or even occuring for much can be done in 4 years, which is just short of the period of Hitlers reign.

Beastrabban\'s Weblog

This is a very short piece – less than a minute – from The Young Turks, where they talk about a suggestion from one of their viewers for defeating Trump’s proposed Muslim registry. The viewer recommends that everyone should register themselves as Muslim to overload the system. Cenk Uygur calls it ‘the I-am-Spartacus movement’, after that scene in the classic movie where the Romans ask the defeated slaves which one of them is Spartacus, and they all reply ‘I’m Spartacus’.

I’ve got my doubts about such a strategy, as I’m afraid some hardline Muslim organisations would see this not as a gesture of toleration and solidarity, but as an opportunity for mass conversion. But it remains a viable strategy to attacking this section of Trump’s own bigoted, racist and xenophobic agenda.

Jimmy Dore: Stop and Search Policing Now Shown to Be Rubbish

Persecute the innocent and eventually the innocent will want their revenge. By profiling you are demonising an entire race, religion or culture.

In every race, religion or culture there will be a minority who will not conform to what society expects for a variety of reasons, ignorance of the said rules or laws, a persecution complex, contempt for others, bullying, etc. Many of these persons could need educating or counseling to ascertain reasons for their behaviour and some a form of punishment. For we are in an assumed civilised society and should care for our fellow beings and show them respect and understanding in order that they may reflect on what they are doing.

But first we require an equalised society in that the controlling powerful forces, such as Government, police, media, etc. do not castigate, vilify or victimise sections of the community to further increase resentment and exclusion.

Beastrabban\'s Weblog

This is another fascinating piece from the American comedian Jimmy Dore, who turns up regularly on The Young Turks internet show. In this video he discusses an article in one of the New York Papers, reporting a study that has shown ‘broken windows’ policing to be complete rubbish. ‘Broken windows’ policing is the name given to the police strategy of prosecuting people for minor offences – what are called ‘quality of life’ offences, like graffiti, riding your bike on the pavement and so on, in the expectation that cracking down on minor crimes will lead to a drop in major felonies. It includes ‘stop and frisk’ – what over here is called ‘stop and search’ – in which people are stopped and searched at random by the rozzers.

The ‘broken windows’ strategy takes its name from an official experiment, in which a car was left in the road with its…

Counterpunch: Obama Will Not Permit American Chilcot Inquiry

Is it not strange that democracy means different things in different areas, both in time and place. Where is accountability in all this.

There is the rule of law and order for us all to act within, but when power is the chief criteria is there adherence to law and order. Or does power Trump law and order, for if it does then America and the world need to be fearful of a possible result from the American Presidental Elections.

Beastrabban\'s Weblog

After the Chilcot inquiry finally released its report this week, which found that Tony Blair had misled parliament and the British people into a bloody and illegal war in Iraq, some parts of the American left are bitter that there will not be a similar inquiry and condemnation of Bush, Cheney, Rumsfeld and co in the Land of the Free. This is due to Obama and the Democrats, who have shown themselves every bit as hawkish and Bush’s Republican administration, which started the War. Kyle Kulinski of Secular Talk has pointed out how Obama, despite his initial anti-war rhetoric, has been every bit as zealous in continuing the war, including assassination by drone, as his Republican predecessors. This is highly ironic, and once again shows the how farcical the decisions of the Nobel Committee are, as Obama was awarded the Nobel Peace Prize. As indeed was Henry Kissinger, despite the…

Republican Ted Cruz Wants Increased Police Patrols in Muslim Areas

Beastrabban\'s Weblog

It’s not just Trump who is promoting a very anti-Muslim line in America. It’s also Ted Cruz, another far-Right Republican. Over on The Young Turks they’ve actually been debating who would be worse for America – Trump or Cruz. While Trump’s been talking about banning Muslims from entering America, for example, Cruz has actually been doing it. He’s behind a law to prevent, or at least limit, further Muslim immigration.

After the terrible attacks in Belgium this week, Cruz got up to recommend that there should be increased police patrols in Muslim areas. The Young Turks naturally took a dim view about that. Cenk Uygur, one of the Turks’ anchors, who is himself of Muslim Turkish heritage, said that while they were at it, why not move Muslim communities somewhere else, and create a ghetto. He was, of course, being bitterly ironic, but his attack does voice fears that what…

Abdesalam and Terrorist Ringleaders – Butchers, Manipulators and Cowards

Beastrabban\'s Weblog

The major news story today has been the horrific suicide bombings in Brussels. Apart from the deaths and injuries this has caused, it’s also closed down plane, train, tram and bus communications, leaving thousands of people stranded in the Belgian capital. This has come after the capture at the week of Abdesalam, the ringleader of the Paris bombings last year.

The Young Turks’ anchor, Cenk Uygur, made a particularly acute observation about Abdesalam’s character. When the Paris police raided the terrorist’s headquarters, they found an unused suicide belt. It seems that Abdesalam was also due to blow himself to kingdom come along with the rest of the maniacs. But when it came to the crunch, he decided that he wasn’t quite ready to meet Allah in paradise just yet. No doubt he felt he still had too much good work to do still on Earth killing infidels down here before…

The Young Turks on How Donald Trump Negotiates: A Warning to America

Beastrabban\'s Weblog

The Young Turks’ Cenk Uygur and Ana Kasparian, with Jimmy Dore and John Iadarola here discuss an incident from Trump’s past where he screwed over the people, who had hired him to speak at an event. They do so not just because it shows he’s a d*ck, but because it indicates his egocentric and entirely self-centred attitude to business and government. There is no ‘we’ with Trump. It’s all about him, and when he gets into power, he’ll do the same and exploit the very people, who voted for him.

Apparently Trump was hired to speak at an event for a fee of $250,000. Then at the very last moment, he said he wasn’t coming unless he was paid a million bucks. The organisers were stuck in a terrible quandary. They had told everyone Trump was coming, and now he was threatening to pull out unless he was paid four…

The Young Turks on the Sheer Craziness of Michael Savage

Beastrabban\'s Weblog

In my last blog post, I posted a piece from Secular Talk discussing Newt Gingrich’s statement to Fox & Friends that they had created the political Frankenstein’s monster that is Donald Trump, now currently rampaging across America. Kulinski stated that he thought Gingrich was slightly wrong in that it wasn’t just Fox & Friends who were responsible for Trump, but the entire Far Right milieu. For twenty years or so they have been pushing a very nationalist, anti-immigration agenda, very similar to Trump’s. All he has done is to make it absolutely blatant, without the coded language previous politicians and right-wing pundits have used to disguise it. They’ve loudly denounced ‘political correctness’, and the result is Donald Trump, who very loudly proclaims that he is not ‘politically correct’. Hence the misogyny and derogatory comments about women and immigrants, particularly Muslims and Mexicans.

In this clip, Cenk Uygur discusses one of…
