Rishi Sunak should seek new Brexit deal with EU, says Tony Blair think tank | The Independent

PM urged to consider UK alignment with parts of single market

============================================

The 2016 EU referendum was a once in a lifetime action as was the Scottish independence referendum, so as there should be no talk of Scottish independence, there should be no talk of joining the EU in any form.

The Blair thinktank is and always will be for the EU and is Blair.

When Blair was Prime Minister he never once consulted the UK population on how to conduct talks with the EU and he blindly went his own way and signed the UK further and further into the EU without any UK population mandate.

That was not democracy then and will not be now for with the EU there is no way for close alignment on trade without much closer alignment with the EU in many other ways. One being giving UK soverenty away to the EU and being a puppet state of the EU, not being in charge of how the UK conducts any of its business, joining the Euro, British army given to the EU, no tax independence and much more.

The UK 2016 EU referendum was about UK freedom from constraints from the EU and we should not go back to being controlled by the EU.

Re freedom of movement, yes lets have it but on UK terms not EU terms, so in reality immigration from the EU to the UK will be the same as any other country. I wish a boarder relaxation, but on our terms, for the UK needs the right immigration policy to sustain UK growth, which we currently don’t have, as it is currently too restrictive. Many areas of UK workforce are short of applicants and Non-UK applications are desperently needed. Social care, agriculture and hospitality to name just 3, but there are many more.

Realistic salaries need to be offered in these areas, much more than currently being offered, especially in Social Care, which should be, at least in the region of £14/15 per hour rate. If this is not achieved in social care and much more, then we can say goodbye to the NHS, which is another areas dependent on non-UK immigration.

We need to do what is best for the UK and not what is best for Blair.

The humiliating moment Tony Blair destroys his own argument for a people’s vote | The Canary

Tony Blair spoke to BBC Newsnight on 19 March. And with one sentence, he seemed to destroy his own argument for a people’s vote on Brexit.

Not exactly a friend of democracy

Since stepping down as prime minister in 2007, Blair has spent much of his time cosying up to dictators. That pursuit (and others) has made him and his family millions. He’s also taken over a million from British taxpayers, via an allowance for public engagements, even though he’s no longer in power.

But he still loves to lecture us all about democracy, of course.

After the Secret Flights to Deport Windrush Migrants, No-One Is Safe in Tory Britain

We all need to look at ourselves and judge who of us is racist as we all have a right of live. Just because someone, for whatever reason may be different is no reason to be abusive to each other.

There should be zero tolerance on racist attitudes so that we can all live in peace with each other.

Beastrabban\'s Weblog

Mike in his articles attacking May and her truly foul decision to destroy the evidence needed for the Windrush migrants to show their right to live in our wonderful country also mentioned that poem by Martin Niemoller. Niemoller was one of the scandalously few Christians in Nazi Germany to oppose the regime. You know the poem. It’s become something of a cliché – It opens with the various groups the Nazis came for, with the refrain ‘I did not speak out, because I was not’ whichever group was being attacked. It ends with the line that when they finally came for him, there was no-one to stand up for him. This was the reality in Nazi Germany. The Nazis attacked group after group, not just Jews, but also Gypsies, Socialists, Communists, trade unionists, the disabled, and other political and religious dissidents. And it had an effect. The Catholic Centre Party…

Chris Smith: People Want the Advertising Standards Authority to Act on Political Claims

I agree with most of this post, however, in my 60 odd years of life on this earth I have found that there are not many politicians in who you can believe in, be they red, blue, green, purple, orange, yellow and others. However, there are some in which there is some form of belief and others practically none. They all promise the earth and unfound riches in their manifestos and only when they assume power can the truths be revealed.

You cast your vote and hope for the best.

Regarding Brexit nothing has come forth as we have not Brexited and will not be doing so until March 2019 or may be not, depending on whether there will be a transition deal or not.

Everything is so up in the air and no one on either side in the UK or Europe can be sure of the final outcome. We can all speculate on what the outcome or outcomes will or can be and who will be in power if and when we do or not do Brexit.

That length of string is getting longer or is it shorter, day by day.

Beastrabban\'s Weblog

This is another fascinating little video from RT’s Going Underground. Host Afshin Rattansi talks to the former cabinet minister under Blair, Chris Smith, above his decision to oppose the Invasion of Iraq, his work in the Advertising Standards Authority, and Brexit.

Smith was Blair’s Culture Secretary, and the author of a book, Creative Britain. The cover showed him wielding a professional movie/TV camera. He states he opposed the Iraq invasion because it was ‘obviously the wrong the policy’. He also states that during his time with the Advertising Standards Authority, people wrote in asking them if they could possibly act against the misleading political advertising in elections. Smith states that this is sadly impossible. Their constitution limits them to commercial advertising only, and they have no power to prosecute or punishment politicians that lie.

On the subject of Brexit, he and Rattansi clearly hold different views. Smith appears…

British Intelligence Warned Tony Blair of Manchester-Like Terrorism if the West Invaded Iraq

Surely at this late stage Tony Blair can be convicted of some offence for his lying behaviour while he was Prime Minister.

Stop Making Sense

Jon Schwarz reports for The Intercept:

TOPSHOT - Emergency response vehicles are parked at the scene of a suspected terrorist attack during a pop concert by US star Ariana Grande in Manchester, northwest England on May 23, 2017. / AFP PHOTO / Paul ELLIS (Photo credit should read PAUL ELLIS/AFP/Getty Images)Former British Prime Minister Tony Blair has yet to say anything about Monday’s heinous, nihilistic suicide bombing at an Ariana Grande concert in Manchester, England. According to current reporting, the attack has been claimed by ISIS and was carried out by a 22-year-old man born in Manchester to Libyan refugees.

But when Blair does speak, we can be certain he won’t mention one key fact: Before the 2003 invasion of Iraq led by the U.S. and U.K., he was forcefully and repeatedly warned by Britain’s intelligence services that it would lead toexactly this type of terrorist attack — and he concealed these warnings from the British people, instead claiming the war would reduce the risk of terrorism.

We know this because of the Chilcot Report, the seven-year-long British investigation of the Iraq War released in 2016. The report declassifies numerous internal government documents that…

Tony Blair: Iraq war prosecution attempt goes back to court

Hoping for a just outcome in that Blair should be brought before the courts to be held to account.

ukgovernmentwatch

”On Tuesday the high court will consider arguments for reversing that ban and for keeping it.

The attorney general, the government’s top law officer, wants the ban upheld and also to join the case.

The current controversy revolves around Blair’s decision when prime minister to take Britain into the invasion of Iraq in 2003, which was led by the United States and sparked huge opposition.”

”The lawyers behind the private prosecution attempt include Michael Mansfield QC and Imran Khan, who fought a long battle for justice for the family of Stephen Lawrence.” https://www.theguardian.com/politics/2017/may/16/tony-blair-iraq-war-prosecution-attempt-goes-back-to-court?CMP=share_btn_fb

Tony Blair Announces His Return to Politics

Tony Blair, a bad penny, which will not go away, he may be down to is last £million and wishes to refurbish his money chest.

So Blair as now resurfaced but is this good or bad news for the Labour Party, will he attract or lose votes.

He defends his record, but was this good or bad, for do not we all remember him for his disastrous war in Iraq and the so called ‘Weapons of Mass Destruction’.

We will have to wait and see, but either way he will feel he is a success.

Stop Making Sense

Tony Blair is coming back to politics because of Brexit[…] However, those worried the original Blairite will grab control of the Labour party need not worry – for now.

He told the tabloid that he has no current plans to return to frontline politics or become an MP, but it appears he could be laying the groundwork for a new political party or movement.

Nigel Farage, for example, has never been elected as an MP but lead the Brexit movement with Ukip.

“It is not frontline politics in the sense I am not standing for parliament,” Mr Blair explained.

“I am not sure I can turn something into a political movement but I think there is a body of ideas out there people would support.”

Books on the Criminal Psychology of Tony Blair

Blair was never a moderate and he certainly is not now, he was only interested in himself and his surge for power and he has not changed. Whether he was like this from the start, I can not say, but that is where he came to.

As for Trump, he is there from the start and no one knows what he will do next, perhaps, even himself.

We have been and still are in very worrying times.

Yon made reference to Dr David Kelly taking his own life, but did he, for we only have the word and reports from the establishment and they can and do alter facts and reports as they see fit. This is seen from the evidence produced by Blair re the weapons of mass destruction, they are all lies, lies and more lies, or is it Fake News as Trump states all the time. His news is fake and what he refers to as fake is correct news.

The world is a complete mess and I have not even mentioned Putin for he is a completely separate chapter.

If the prisons were full of corrupt leaders then there would be no room for the ordinary criminal.

Beastrabban\'s Weblog

Looking through the politics section of one of the secondhand bookshops in Cheltenham the other day, I also found two books arguing that Tony Blair was malign and psychologically unfit for office. One was by the Old Labour MP, Leo Abse, the other by the founder of the SDP and now Lib Dem, Dr David Owen. Abse’s book, the Politics of Perversion, used psychoanalytic theory to argue that Blair had the ruthless psychology of a clinical pervert. Owen’s book, the Hubris of Power, argued that Bush and Blair had spent so long in power, that they had become arrogant, believing they could get away with anything, no matter how unjust or despicable.

I only casually flicked through them, but just looking at Blair’s single-minded promotion of the Iraq Invasion, which in turn involved peddling lies, deceit and the persecution of dissenting officials – to the point where one…

Tony Blair was warned about results of opening borders

Blair is a liar and a traitor and the elites should stop protecting him.

All Blair thinks about is himself and he has made £millions through his perverted politics. He needs to be made accountable for his actions as a warning to others.

This insane moron needs to be stopped so please sign the Petition.

”The think tank MigrationWatch released its own report in August 2003 – nine months before these countries formally joined the EU – warning that immigration from former Soviet bloc countries could be four times higher than the Home Office report’s estimate.

How much of a bribe was it again Tone? That much? Really?

The Daily Express, in a leader article, agreed and warned that “the Government’s assurances on immigration inspire little confidence”.”

“Blair’s interview was a typical display of his tenuous relationship with the truth.” That’s an over-polite way of telling us that he is a pathological liar. Sorry, already known.

The sentiment of “draining the swamp” is highly appealing after years of post-blairian dystopia UK. This man needs swift justice to stop others doing the same in the future. Abhorrent globalist traitor.

Tony Blair calls for campaign against ‘Brexit at any cost’ : i NEWS.

Tony Blair begging the UK to rise up against Brexit, as he say people who voted were not aware of the facts and are therefore entitled to change their minds.

So by the line of thought does this apply to General elections, for here we only have the promises made in each parties manifestos and do they deliver.

So if they do not can we then vote again and so may be reverse the election result. Would there not be anarchy.

What is he advocating, is taking to the street as they did on his decision to commence war with Iraq and what did he do, he ignored it and look what occurred.

It would appear the public, according to Blair, only know what they are doing when they agree with Blair other wise it is Fake News or alternative facts.

Where have we come across this before, well would you believe the US Presidential election and America got President Donald Trump. We got rid of Blair lets not let him back in, treat him with the contempt he deserves.
