This is speculation but with a great deal of thought into what could have occurred. In all of this there appears to be some degree of thought that the claim that the al-Hilli family were used as a ‘smoke screen’ by the French authorities rather than develop in more depths all areas of enquiries.

Lets hope in time the truth will come out.

France to enshrine abortion rights in constitution as a ‘guaranteed freedom’

French lawmakers are expected Monday to anchor the right to abortion in the country’s constitution, in a global first that has garnered overwhelming public support.

This is a great move as women should always have the right to be in charge of their own bodies, so it should be included in every country’s Constitution, but not all countries have constitutions.

In the article, it references America and what has occurred since the US Supreme Court overturned Roe v Wade, 1973, in June 2022. It should have been within the US Constitution, however, one former US President who could soon become a US President again, former President Donald Trump not only doesn’t respect women’s rights, he doesn’t even respect the US Constitution and may not even be aware of its existence. Even if he is he would just ignore it for he believes a President has a right to do anything he chooses and if he becomes President again he will certainly try to do so.

French farmer vows to ‘starve Paris’

A tractor blockade established at eight points around Paris is intended to “starve Parisians”, a French farmer has claimed.

All governments are infamous for the amount of ‘Red Tape’ their policies create, and perhaps the EU even more so.

Negotiating with the respective parties is also an area in which governments rarely excel, especially the EU.

When it comes to strikes the UK had or perhaps still has a reputation for striking, but perhaps not to the militant extremes of the French strikers.

While the farmers have to retain some degree of sustainability, they and governments have to understand the mounting problems that are creating climate change. Yes, by all means, take farmers’ sustainability into account, but if that then leads to more degrees of climate change, the farmer’s sustainability will be under pressure due to the mitigating factors of climate change and these changes could mean, eventually that farmers existence could be under threat.

The farmers and also many governments are concentrating on the short-term when the long-term could be more important and the inability or refusal to do so could well or more likely have disastrous consequences for everyone in the long-term, which may not be as long-term as many believe for it could be occurring in the very short-term. Therefore any delays in not engaging with climate change measures could be the most disastrous outcome we have ever seen.

We are seeing many weather events happening more frequently and to higher degrees than ever before and the outlook appears that these events will become even more frequent and much more disastrous than ever known.

So, striking in the short term and governments not engaging effectively could well have many consecuences we have not seen before, so much to learn by all concerned and not just in France. but  this is everywhere. However,time is not on our side and actions have to be taken well before it is too late, and the too late is becoming ever shorter by every second of inaction or wrong actions being taken.

Estonia gets France’s help to prepare for ‘when’ Putin attacks – POLITICO

The Estonian Defense League, a voluntary military organization, wants to be ready for a Russian invasion.

It is great that France is helping Estonia prepare for a Russian invasion, but the only real way to stop a Russian invasion is to fully support Ukraine in its war to counter the Russian invasion of Ukraine managed by Putin. Ensure Putin is defeated and there should be no Russian invasions anywhere, especially if the Russian military is disarmed on their defeat. But, in doing so the West also has to substantially disarm as well with all other fractions around the World.

Peace in the World has to be the ultimate aim. For this the UN if it is to continue has to have much more power and the aggressors in the UN silenced whoever they are. Any country that goes against any UN declaration needs to be sanctioned without question.

As soon as any War Crimes have been committed proceedings should start. Anyone who is against peace could and should be classed as a terriorist.

Poland and Lithuania to send German-made Leopard tanks to Ukraine | Euronews

During a visit to Lviv in Ukraine, Poland’s President Andrzej Duda met with his Ukrainian and Lithuanian counterparts, where he announced the dispatch of 14 coveted German-made Leopard tanks.

Yes, Ukraine needs all the help it can for Ukraine is not just trying to defend itself from the unnecessary and so illegal invasion of their territory by Russian forces and those others who are mistakenly supporting Putin, but to also stop Putin from invading any other countries he feels he should do.

If, Putin had not been ignored in all his previous actions, then he would not have believed he would be successful in invading Ukraine as he appeared to be. It is always a grave mistake to ignore the likes of Putin and others like him for they believe non-action is a weakness and boosts their belief in being invincible.

So give to Ukraine all it needs and even more, otherwise expect Putin to be in your ‘backyard’ sooner or later.

German employers and unions unite to oppose EU Russian gas boycott | Euronews

German bosses and unions have opposed a ban on Russian gas imports by the EU, claiming it will cause job losses and factory closures.

So, much for European unity or is that only EU, but not much over the years for Greece. So, is Germany a law until itself or is it just Germany and France, for it is reported that they continued, during the 2014 invasion of Crimea, to supply some armaments to Russia, even though there was an EU-wide arms embargo.

So, it is not just the importing of Russiam gas, but that Germany comes first, irrespective of War Crimes committed and continuing to be committed to be continuing by Russia against innocent Ukrainian civilians and destructions of Ukrainian hospitals, schools, etc and also executions of Ukrainians.

‘It’s a mess’: UK to vet Ukraine refugees at Calais as French claim hundreds rejected | Euronews

The UK is to install a visa application centre for Ukrainian refugees on the northern French coast, amid claims that hundreds trying to reach England have been refused entry.

Yes, it is a mess,. As we know the problems causing this refugee crisis is down to Putin and his unreal obsession to bring Ukraine back under the control of Russia against the wishes of the Ukrainian population, just to pander to his ego.

The refugees have already gone through many instances of extreme turmoil as the Russian tactics are creating ever  increasing form of destruction, injuries and death. Everything should be being done to make life somewhat easier for the Ukrainian refugees, but the |UK government appears to be continuing the refugees anguish by having a ‘not fit for purpose’ entry facility to the UK.

The debate of whether visas should be necessary is another matter, but a very important ,matter, but the opportunities to obtain visas are not easy to find.

The refugees are making their way to Calais as no information is available, but there are no visa facilities there,. The excuse is not to create a ‘bottleneck, but that is what is being achieved by not having a visa facility there and the ones that are available are miles away and appointments are needed.

To make matters easier then visas should be suspended and obtained when in the UK. A  new visa facility is being created, I believe in Lillie, but not only not open yet, there is no information of where in Lillie it will be and again appointments will be required.

This is all implying that refugees are not welcome, now is that the real story.

Speaking alongside Chancellor Scholz, the French president also said France and Germany were united in seeking to defuse the crisis.

Putin is living in the past as he assumes that he and Russia have a right to dictate to another independent country what they can do. I was lead to believe that WW2 took place to stop these attitudes and that the UN was created to ensure and retain peace. But the UN is not mentioned here and will not be as the UN Security Council contains Russia and needs  agreement of all members to provide actions. Well Russia will never agree to actions against themselves and will most likely have the support of China in this matter, in fact who does listen to the UN.

By Putin’s actions he could very well cause the start of WW3 from which there will be no return for anyone just so that he looks good to the population of Russia, but he has no opposition as he has seen to that by either arresting them or murdering them.

On another matter the supporters of the EU say that the EU was created and is responsible for peace in Europe, so where is the EU  in this matter, some could say that France and Germany are involved, but they are only 2 of the 26 in the EU, but they believe they are the EU.

The EU started as a Trading Block and is morphing into, what it hopes to be, a United States of Europe, but without Russia. Ukraine wishes to join the EU, but then Russia is against this.

Nato was formed to provide peace, but their hands are also tied.

So, we are in the hands of Putin, well in that case God, help us.

Channel deaths: Priti Patel disinvited to meeting with France | Immigration and asylum | The Guardian

I implore both the UK and France, being Johnson and Macron to stop their ‘childish’ behaviours, and behave as they should be doing in a respectable manner for the Migrant crisis and even more so Channel crossings is not only urgent, but innocent lives are being lost.

This is so much more important than the squabbles between 2 countries as there is a ‘Duty of Care’ on both parties and even the EU. For if the EU wishes to be viewed as a responsible organisation it should be them who bring France and the UK together.

The migrant crisis needs to be sorted NOW as it has gone on for far too long.

Nothing can be decided until all parties are together, so Macron and Johnson act as the adults both of you should be.

AstraZeneca vaccine safe and effective in new trial data | Reuters

More evidence that the AstraZeneca vaccine is safe, so why is the EU continually coming out against this vaccine and not any of the others.

First we had Macron and Merkel then the blood clot scare followed by 17 European countries suspending use of the vaccine all of this without any reliable justification.

Is all this because of the AstraZeneca connection with the UK or do they wish their populations to catch COVID-19? If it is the latter this will be very disturbing. For while blood clots are not registered as one of the side effects of the vaccine, blood clots are down as one of the possible consequences of contracting COVID-19.

No wonder the take up rates of having the vaccines in Europe are very disappointing and while this is a very real cause of concern within Europe, it is also a very real concern in the rest of the World, including the UK. As by not having an effective take up rate this is leading to possible more mutations, some, which could well reduce the effectiveness of the vaccines, leaving those of us who have been vaccinated open to contracting COVID-19 with maybe serious consequences.

This, I feel is the EU playing with politics and a further punishment for the UK leaving the EU.

The EU need to get over themselves for they are the reason for Europe starting a possible 3rd wave of Coronavirus, due to their shambolic dealings with measures to combat COVID-19. Slowing in vaccine approvals, slow in placing vaccine orders, having less effective contracts of purchasing of COVID vaccines.

On the face of it the best thing the UK did was coming out of the EU, as the EU is much too bureaucratic.

Now the EU is threatening to stop companies exporting Vaccines, especially to the UK, when they have many supplies of vaccines in storage in the EU.  This is showing the EU in their true colours.
