Prime Minister also set to strip GPs of power to sign people off work under new plans

So our glorious Prime Minister Rishi Sunak wants to end Britain’s ‘sick note culture’, but not by making people well, just by stopping GPs of the power to sign people off work and bringing in specialised work and health support workers. Will these support workers be able to perform as many miracles as they will need to do?
GPs are specialists after years of training in areas related to health so should be well qualified in whether a person is well enough to work or not. These mandarins will be following orders to ignore health concerns and force people back to work whether the people are well enough or not.
This Rishi is assuming that most sick are not sick at all but are malingerers, well Rishi is an expert on malingering for that is what he has and is doing being Prime Minister for he has no clue what he is doing. In fact, does anyone in his government have any clue what they are doing.
Has Rishi ever been a patient on the NHS or has he always gone private as he is one of the few who can afford to go private, what with his wealth and then that of his wife, he is most likely the richest Prime Minister the UK as ever had.
With the people off sick, surprisingly, they are not more sick than they are for trying to get treatment regularly is one of the major miracles in the UK. Rishi should be concentrating on improving the NHS and social care and then the sickness in the UK may be much improved. Due to the major problems in mental health people are waiting far too long to be seen let alone then get the treatments they urgently require to become better to a degree for with the waiting they are getting much worse.
But it is not just mental health for it is all areas of the NHS and social care is much worse, and that is adding to the problems in the NHS.
This is just the people who are sick, then we have persons with disabilities who also may be sick, but may not be for they need the help and care to help them manage their disabilities and again if the help and care are not there or not there sufficiently then they also deteriorate more, causing more problems for them and also for the NHS and social care.
The sick notes are not the problem, but the lack of social care and help from the NHS.
In addition to this is the benefits which also are insufficient and claiming for them is horrendous, lengthy application forms that ask the same questions multiple times In many different ways and the applications could be then assessed by similar supposed specialised work and health support workers. These workers appear to be engaged and under instruction to fail more applications than they pass. But on appeal by the claimants, many of the applications which were failed are then passed, thus increasing the costs related to the application process.
The culture should be getting it right the first time, but the system is so unfit for purpose so no wonder the costs keep increasing. As usual, Rishi like all previous Prime Ministers is getting it wrong for it appears the system is there to get it wrong when it should be there to get it right and to provide the required help and support and not the hindrances it does provide.
So it is not the ending of the ‘sick note culture’ that is required, but the so important improvement to health and social care. However, with Rishi’s £billions he has no experience with this. Currently, living in the ‘Ivory’ tower of 10 Downing Street and his other current residencies Rishi never will have those experiences.
